First of all, I would like to say that it is not my intention to bash Urban Decay or rant about the brand; not at all. I really like it. For example, I love their blushes, their eyeliners and some of their individual eyeshadows. I simply do not like the Naked 2 (I have not tried any of the other Naked palettes). I bought this eyeshadow palette ten months ago at Sephora; I used it for a few months and finally I decided to sell it because it did not live up to my expectations and I was not reaching for it because of that.
The main reason why I did not like the palette was the fact that, no matter what eyeshadows I applied to my eyes, I felt like the final results (the looks) were exactly the same every time. I really could not distinguish what eyeshadows from the Naked 2 I was wearing that day, and the eyeshadows would always look muddy on my eyes. That is why, in my oppinion, it is not a versitile palette at all. Now, I do not know if this has something to do with what I am about to tell or not, but for reference, I would say that I have a neutral undertone and very light skin.
The second reason why I did not like it is because the majority of the eyeshadows are too sparkly or glittery and have a lot of fallout. I could pass this and simply remove the fallout later, but it is something that bothers me, I personally think it is very annoying. The matte shadows, though, were good and performed really well (specially the black one), and the shade Bootycall, for example, is great; it is a satin shade (not sparkly or glittery) and it did not have fallout. Nevertheless, I have to admit that these eyeshadows are nicely pigmented, but the sparkly ones didn’t transfer that well to the skin with a brush.
So, in conclusion: to me, the main reason why it is not worth the money is the fact that, in my humble oppinion, it is not a versatile palette at all. Furthermore, I think it is too glittery, and the glitter doesn't adhere well to the skin. I know that a lot of people love the Naked palettes, and I do not know if it is a matter of skintone or undertone, as I said before. I might consider buying a few single eyeshadows from Urban Decay in the future, because I really like some of the shades in the Naked 2. The thing is, I do not think these eyeshadows work well in combination with the other ones in the palette, as the final looks tended to look the same on my eyes, no matter what eyeshadows I combined to create them.

Primero de todo, me gustaría mencionar que mi intención no es despotricar de Urban Decay en absoluto. La marca me gusta mucho. Por ejemplo, me encantan sus coloretes, sus lápices de ojos y algunas de las sombras individuales. Simplemente no me gusta la Naked 2 (no he probado ninguna otra paleta de sombras Naked). La compré hace meses en Sephora; la usé durante un tiempo y finalmente decidí venderla porque no se ajustaba a mis expectativas y no la usaba mucho por esa razón.
La razón principal por la que no me gustó esta paleta fue el hecho de que, me aplicase las sombras que me aplicase, los resultados (looks) finales, en mi opinión, parecían exactamente iguales cada vez. Realmente no podía distinguir qué sombras de ojos de la Naked 2 estaba llevando ese día, y siempre se veían turbias en mis ojos. Esa es la razón principal por la que, en mi opinión, esta paleta no es nada versátil. No sé si esto tiene algo que ver con lo que voy a comentar a continuación, pero, como referencia, diría que tengo un subtono neutral y la piel clara.
La segunda razón por la que no me gustó es el hecho de que la mayoría de las sombras son demasiado “purpurinosas” y se caen mucho por el rostro. Podría pasar esto por alto y simplemente eliminar después la caída, pero esto es algo que me molesta, personalmente pienso que es muy molesto. Las sombras mate, sin embargo, son buenas y se trabajan realmente bien, especialmente la negra, y la sombra Bootycall, por ejemplo, es genial; esta es satinada, no tiene purpurina y no se caía por el rostro. De todas formas, tengo que admitir que estas sombras tienen una buena pigmentación, aunque las que tienen purpurina no se transfieren muy bien en la piel utilizando brochas.
En conclusión: para mí, la principal razón por la que no vale la pena esta paleta es el hecho de que, en mi humilde opinión, no es una paleta versátil en absoluto. Además, pienso que es demasiado “purpurinosa”, y la purpurina no se adhiere bien a la piel. Sé que a mucha gente le gustan las paletas Naked de Urban Decay, y no sé si esto es cuestión de tono y subtono, como he dicho anteriormente. Puede que considere comprar sombras individuales de la marca en un futuro, porque realmente me gustan algunos de los tonos de la Naked 2. Pero no pienso que estas sombras funcionen bien en combinación con las demás sombras de la paleta, porque los looks finales parecían iguales entre ellos en mis ojos, sin importar qué tonos combinase para crearlos.
